Additional information

• During the firmware update, the MCU upgrade will cause the EAH-8 to lock and unlock repeatedly. This is temporary, and the EAH-8 will resume normal operation once the update is complete.

EAH-8 5.5.8.0 includes the following improvements and bugfixes.

• Fixed an issue where incorrect information was logged when a doorbell was triggered when the Button mode was set to "Ring/Trigger Chime."

EAH-8 5.4.3.0 supports unlocking doors using QR codes and syncing data immediately and fixes a doorbell call log issue.

Improvements

• Added support for unlocking doors by placing QR codes on UA Intercoms for scanning.
• Users, visitors, NFC cards, and door access policies can be immediately synced to the device (requires the upcoming UniFi Access application 1.24.5).

Bugfixes

• Fixed the issue where answering the doorbell call from a reader on EAH-8 resulted in an extra doorbell cancel log in the System Log.
